Loose Handle

- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Digits along the Palindrome (grey line) read the same forwards and backwards.
- Digits in cells separated by an X sum to 10.
- No two digits within a colored region are consecutive, and no two 2x2 regions contain exactly the same four digits.
- Each 2x2 region contains two digits from one of the sets given below and one digit from each of the other sets. 2x2 regions of the same color select two of their digits from the same set.
- Which 2x2 region colors indicate a selection of two digits from which set is to be determined by the solver.
- The 3-cell green region in box 5 contains one digit from each set.
- Sets: [1,2,3] -- [4,5,6] -- [7,8,9]
The 2x2 regions in boxes 1, 3 and 7 are the same color. The 2x2 regions in boxes 2, 4 and 9 are the same color. The 2x2 regions in boxes 6 and 8 are the same color.

It took me a couple tries to stop fumbling over myself, but once I got that under control everything went smoothly. I did not use the restriction that no two 2x2s can contain the same four digits.

Regarding the 2x2 non-repeats, I find it intriguing but not surprising there is a path which does not require that rule. Thanks for playing and for the comment! As I've said before it's always a fun surprise to hear from a constructor whose puzzles I admire :]

Nice to see this one published here as well! It's once again very original and well crafted, and I certainly enjoyed testing it just as much as I did Double Jointed -- and incidentally, I see Double Jointed is juuust short of getting rated, I hope some more people will be inspired to try it! :D
