Fitting In

(Published on 7. September 2023, 18:42 by CaptZebraCakes)

In this puzzle, the solver must find strings of consecutive digits. I had a lot of fun setting this puzzle, and I hope you enjoy solving it!

Normal sudoku rules apply.

Digits outside the grid represent the length of the largest set of consecutive digits in that row or column. The digits in each set must appear in consecutive order. Not all clues are given.

Thank you for this wonderful puzzle, CaptZebraCakes! I tried to think about it in a different way now and found the break-in to be really astonishing and beautiful. Since it took me quite some time to understand the implications of the constraint, I have given 4/5 difficulty. Thank you very much for setting and sharing!

Nice new idea - took a little while for me to realise the rule impacts, but flowed well once those clicked
