Star Killer Part 3: Lunch Break
(Published on 5. January 2024, 20:00 by FischmitFahrrad)
Standard Star Killer Sudoku rules apply (see below).
Additional constraints on stars:
-
Clues outside of the grid give the sum of the digits in cells sandwiched between the two stars in that row/column.
Star Killer Rules:
Place exactly two stars into each row, column and box. Stars may not share an edge (no diagonal constraint!). The number in the top-left corner of a cage (if given) gives you the number of stars, that are outside of the cage and share an edge with that cage.
Digits in a cage do not repeat and sum to the total X. The number in the top-left corner of a cage must be equal to the digit sum of X.

This was monstrously hard for me. I'm not too good at normal sandwich so this was destined to be difficult. Nearly a week of working on this and I finally did it.
Now I feel accomplished. This one made me feel good about myself to finish.

Definitely one of the harder ones even if you are familiar with sandwich sudokus. Great job on finishing! Really appreciate the effort you put into these!
