Avant-garde (Region Sum Line + Nabner Line!?)
(Published on 3. September 2023, 07:00 by Playmaker6174)
The following puzzle of mine is for a special occasion, as it’s inspired by
zetamath's recent trend with the 'sacred'
nabner line, one of those line constraints that really haven't clicked with me that well. His recent
Beauty Mark puzzle actually gave me an interesting idea for the opening and I eventually made a whole puzzle out of it; having said that, I still have to blame zetamath for 'unintentionally' making me venture into this odyssey because again, it's one of the most unusual line constraints to ever exist.
In a way, this puzzle to me is also a memorable learning course that showcases how much various (and interesting) logic a nabner line can deliver. I think it's somewhere between 3/5 and 4/5 diff but I'll let everyone decide this. Hope y'all enjoy the logic overall :)
Rules:
- Normal Sudoku rules apply: every row, column and 3x3 box contains digits from 1 to 9 each once.
- For each blue line in the grid, digits on the line have an equal sum N within each box it passes through.
(the sum may be different for each blue line)
- Along a golden line, digits don't repeat and no two digits can ever be consecutive to each other regardless of their positions.
For example, if a golden line has a 2 on it, that line won't repeat the 2 again and also won't ever have 1 and 3 along it anymore.

My first nabner line puzzle, loved every second of it! Agree with others that the ending disambiguation was a bit of delicious icing on this cake. Thanks!
