Don't Mess With The Sharp End!

(Published on 21. August 2023, 05:00 by Will Power)

Normal Sudoku rules apply. The snake is a palindrome (The nth cell away from both ends are the same as one another). Numbers in cages sum to 13. Numbers with white dots between them are consecutive. Numbers with a black dot between them are in a ratio of 2:1. Not all possible dots are given. Numbers with a V between them sum to 5. Not all possible V are given. Are you feeling lucky?

A nice, enjoyable snack of a puzzle! One word of advice, the rules as you put them might be slightly confusing for inexperienced players. It might be better to explain tha palindrome as a sequence of digits that reads the same from either end, or something like that. (:

I am sorry, but what does "nth" mean?
Thank you

@TheDrunkBaby Sorry, but in algebra, "n" (and sometimes other letters), can be replaced by any number, like a set of numbers in a mathematics equation. In English, many of the line positions like fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, etc. end in "th", so "nth" indicates a statement of position. In this case, this means if you count the same number of steps from both ends, the number will be the same as one another. To say it another way, the line will read the same forward and backward. An example of a written palindrome, in English, is the word "LEVEL" (can be read both forward and backward). Thanks for playing. -Will Power
