---- RULES ----

Normal Sudoku rules apply: Fill the grid with digits 1 to 9 appearing once each in every row, column and 3x3 box.

Kropki Serpents: Six 1-cell wide snakes (orthogonally connected groups of cells) must be drawn into the grid. For each snake, the following rules need to be fulfilled:

• each white circle is the head of a snake and the digit in the circle gives the total number of cells in the related 3x3 box which are visited by that snake.
• a snake must visit at least 2 different 3x3 boxes.
• along the snakes, each digit must be in a 1:2 ratio to one of its neighbors and consecutive to its other neighbor (eg. 124, 436, 487 are valid sequences of digits along a snake).
• the digit in the tail, i.e., the last digit along a snake, must be greater than any other digit on the snake.
• a snake cannot share an edge with any other snake (including itself, thus, a snake cannot fill a complete 2x2 box).

Gray dots: a small gray dot indicates that the related pair of cells must be part of a snake.
