Runis Chaos

Rules:
  • Place the digits 1-9 once in each row column and region
  • 9 regions of 9 orthogonally connected cells must be determined by the solver
  • The 9 large circles and squares must contain a full set of the digits 1-9 and are each part of a different region
  • Digits inside of white circles (small and large) sum to the number of cells seen by the circle (in the same row or column as the circle) that are part of the same region as the circle, and appear before any changes in region.
  • Circles count themselves!
  • Digits along thick grey lines read the same both ways (palindromes)
  • Adjacent digits on thin grey lines may not be part of the same region

This is a lovely puzzle, as if solving the triple cipher in layers.

“Digits inside of white circles (small and large) sum to the number of cells” - I have no idea what this means. Are all circles in the grid being added together?

Very nice! It's certainly tough but it's also fair the entire way through I never found myself stuck very long, tons of fun along the way.

Thanks for the puzzle!
