Rules:
Place the digits 1-6 in every row, column and box.
The big white circles are metro stations that need to be connected by lines.
Each station is connected to each other station by an individual line. Lines travel orthogonally and diagonally and can't branch or overlap.
Lines can never have 90° or sharper bends. (This is not applicable in stations)
You can't cross a small dot with a line (but you can visit the cells adjacent to the dot).
Digits separated by white small dots are consecutive.
Digits connected by a line have to differ by at least 3.
After solving the Sudoku a mystery puzzle awaits.
Solve the Sudoku part on Sudokupad:
CTC-App
Solution code: Row 2 of the Sudoku, then standard notation of the mystery puzzle left to right, no spaces.

Fun and interesting puzzle. Or rather, two puzzles, the sudoku and the mystery one.
Both parts were good and interesting, with some nice deductions. (Though, having had experience with the mystery genre meant that part was rather easy for me, and I could tell almost immediately what genre it would be. I imagine for someone who isn't aware of that genre, this would be quite a bit harder).

One of those puzzles that stick around with you for a long time! Stunning!

I take the rule to mean the train line can't pass directly over any dot but can cut orthogonally or diagonally through a square touching a dot? I couldn't get near the solve unless this was the correct interpretation, although regardless, I felt I completed the grid successfully until I ended up with two deadly patterns (1's & 3's and 5's & 6's) that I couldn't resolve...can't see where I went wrong.

I solved the sudoku, but I don't understand the mystery puzzle either. Is it sudoku related or an other kind of puzzle? Also you hinted to explore the website. Is it like an experimental part of sudokupad related?
-- sorry about the multiple comments, it sended it again each time I refreshed the page

It's not a Sudoku, no. And by website i meant LMD, not SudokuPad.

Very fun puzzle! It was harder than 2 stars for me having never solved (redacted) before. :)

Nice sudoku, and nice idea with the train lines. I have literally no idea what is meant with the "mystery" that follows. Obviously it has something to do with the unused elements of the grid, but I feel like I am missing some information; is a mystery puzzle something specific I should know about?

You have to figure out what puzzle type the mystery is, might be worth exploring the non-sudoku part of the website a bit :)

Beautiful idea, and well executed :)
