In this puzzle I'm showcasing a rule which I believe is a novelty. I'm calling it 'Trebuchets'.
RULES
Sudoku: Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row, column, and 3×3 box.
Trebuchets: The arrows in the grid are trebuchets. Trebuchets take their cell’s digits and toss them over the grid’s edge where they add up forming clues outside the grid. That way, cells outside the grid contain clues equal to the sum of the digits in cells with arrows pointing at them. Cells with no arrows pointing at them contain no clues.
Numbered Rooms: Clues outside the grid show the Xth digit in the row/column (start counting at the cell next to the clue), where X is the cell next to the clue.
I appreciate solves, comments, and suggestions
Solve the puzzle at Penpa+ with answer check. To trigger the answer check you must fill all the digits in the grid as well as the digits in cells outside the grid, if they contain a clue.
Solution code: Column 2 followed by Row 8, no spaces.

This ruleset is interesting, but maybe you should add an example to further illustrate your rules. : )

It felt more like 4* difficulty, but very cool idea and very nice puzzle.
