Rules:

  • Normal sudoku rules apply. The digits 1 through 9 must appear in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
  • Cells with grey circles must contain odd numbers.
  • Cells with grey squares must contain even numbers.
  • Adjacent numbers on a green line must have a difference of 5 or greater.

Additionally

For ONLY DIGITS 1, 5, and 9:

  • Cells that are a chess knight's move apart must not both contain the same digit.
**All other digits may be a knight's move apart**

For ONLY the DIGIT 5:

  • Cells that are a chess king's move apart must not both contain the same digit.
**All other digits may be a king's move apart**

For ONLY ROWS 1, 5, and 9:

  • Digits in columns 1, 5, and 9 indicate the column in which the digit 1, 5, or 9 respectively appears in that row.(If r5c1 is 3, then r5c3 is 1)
**All other rows strictly do not follow these rules** (If r4c1 is 2, then r4c2 must not be 1)

nice construction, even if the rules seem a bit convoluted.

I tried to keep the rules minimum with what I had envisioned. I really liked the idea of the broken 159, but there is quite a bit going on with 1's 5's and 9's.
