- Digits along thermos must increase starting at the bulb end.

Wow! As alluded to by other commenters, this puzzle makes heavy use of a certain result. If you know what I'm talking about, I don't think I've spoiled anything for you, and you should absolutely give this a try. This is one of the coolest uses of that result I've seen, and allows for some really interesting and unusual modes of reasoning.

Very challenging solve, even after knowing a particular cool result. It's easy to misunderstand a few steps in the middle, but after that the puzzle became a smoother and entertaining solve :)
