Good to see that other people are starting to question the ratings numbers that appear on this site. Many of them are quite sus.
a) This is NOT a beginner puzzle, because roping is NOT a beginner technique.
b) I don't see why the quality of the puzzle should be given as <90% ... unless easy puzzles are automatically down-rated. This IS an easy puzzle. It needs to be rated within the CONTEXT of what it is, which is a lovely demonstration of the power of roping. Just two long-ish thermos, set with a specific geometry, and a couple > pairs, and the whole puzzle is fixed. Nice !

Reply: thanks for the note, I think it is hard to decide difficulty sometimes. I see your point about it not being a beginner puzzle. I guess I was hoping that this puzzle had so little useful information other than roping that it would force a beginner to discover the technique, but I saw several people had trouble with it. I will take off the beginner tag from this puzzle.

I really enjoyed this puzzle, as a nice introduction to roping. But if you don't know that roping is a thing... it's probably a much harder puzzle.

This is not “very easy” after multiple restarts I finally worked out the break in but it is more difficult than the rating implies.

I do struggle with thermos so maybe that’s why.

This one had me stumped for a few minutes. This has an excellent break in that when found, the solve flows extremely well. A fantastic puzzle to start my day.
