Suradewoku (Geradeweg/Sudoku) by Wessel Strijkstra

Third loop hybrid, officially a series now. I think this works the most "naturally" well out of the three, less pure pencil puzzle logic and more combined logic. Let me know what you think:)

Rules:

  • Normal sudoku rules apply.
  • Using orthogonal lines, draw a non-intersecting loop through the centres of some cells that passes through every grey clue. Digits on every straight line segment that touches a clue must have a sum equal to the clue’s value.
  • In case of a ?, <, or > clue, the value of that clue must be the same value for all line segments that touch it.

Hard but fair, with some new and interesting geometry logic.

Is it allowed for a straight line to go through a gray cell? (Without turning, e.g. a single line from r1c4 to r1c8)

- Certainly is!

Can the loop have diagonal lines?

- It cannot, I'll add it to the rules:)
