Yin Yang on Arrows

Rules
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Yin Yang: Shade some cells such that all shaded cells are orthogonally connected and all unshaded cells are orthogonally connected and no 2x2 area is fully shaded or unshaded (Yin Yang).
- Arrow: Digits on an arrow line sum to the digit in the attached circle. All circles are shaded and show the number of unshaded cells in the up to 8 surrounded cells. All arrow lines are unshaded.
- Killer: Digits in a cage cannot repeat and must sum to the clue in the top left corner of the cage

To solve the sudoku with a few restrictions by Yin Yang was not so hard. It took me far longer to solve the Yin Yang afterwards (which is not required in order to mark the puzzle as solved)

The puzzle is actually solvable without the "all arrow lines are unshaded" rule, as pointed out by another commenter. I'd also like to add that you don't need to completely solve the yin yang to solve the sudoku, so I think the solution code should feature something that makes the yin yang required.

That was my first attempt at YY - Loved it! Took about 30 minutes because I struggled understanding the rules. It had a nice flow for sure once you started shading!

Think nothing of it. Not only did I miss that rule, I misread that the circles showed the UNshaded surrounding cells. Took me until my 3rd attempt to final follow the rules. Certainly makes it much easier. :)

This is a great puzzle, well done! I would strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to try Ying Yang for the first time.
