DSM 2023 Leftover: German Whispers Sudoku

Some of the puzzles intended for the German Sudoku Championship 2023 turned out to be too difficult during test solving, including this one.
German Whispers Sudoku:
Enter numbers from 1 to 9 into the grid, so that each number appears exactly once in each row, column and outlined 3x3 region.
Along each gray line, adjacent numbers must have a difference of at least 5.

Yes, puzzle championships are usually done with pen and paper. You are allowed to use coloured pencils if you like - makes it harder to erase if you made a mistake, though.
Keep in mind that there are a lot of puzzles, even the hardest puzzles shouldn't take longer than 10, maybe 15 minutes (for the top solvers).

Maybe championship is competed with pen and paper? I for one would never finish that way. With computer and ability to use coloring made this puzzle feel like 2.5 stars at most. Anyway very nice puzzle and should have higher rating. Thanks
