Balance of Power II

(Published on 28. June 2023, 05:00 by Will Power)

Normal Sudoku rules apply. The numbers in SQUARES are weights of that value. The lines on the grid are treated like a balanced mobile when lines are horizontal. All weights on the lines or attached and BELOW them calculate into completing the balance. The one tipped line is showing an imbalance. Balance all weights attached to the right and left of each pink circled balance point. The distance to the right or left of the balance point DOES NOT figure into the calculation, only the SUM of the weights. The sum of all weights in each row and column are shown outside the grid. Example: The sum of the weights in row 3 is 23. Numbers with a white dot between them are consecutive. Numbers with a black dot between them are in a ratio of 2:1. Not all possible dots are shown. Numbers in cages sum to the number in the top left corner of the cage.

Loved this one! I'll have to go back and try the first in the series. Beautiful setting as always, Will. Thanks so much!

That was fun! I kept hoping my logic was sound as I continued to make deductions, and it all came together in the end. Very nice as always, thanks!

All, I created the first puzzle "Balance of Power Challenge" before most people knew my style and goals. Since it looks way different, many probably just skipped it. I made this one easier on purpose, to introduce the concept to people who skipped the first one. Maybe some will complete this one and go back to the other. Thanks, and peace to all.

I already LOVED the first one and always hoped there will wbe a second one. Was pretty fun too, but (maybe because i loved the first one already) this one felt way easier. Solved it in 20 Minutes compared to the multiple Hours the first one took me

After wrestling with your Balance of Power Challenge (I), I found this one to be easier. Guess I did learn something from my struggle with the first one. Thanks for providing these great puzzles.
