Additionally, the two digits placed on the purple renban line have the following properties every time they appear in the grid:
They do not touch a consecutive digit orthogonally.
They do not see an identical digit by chess queen's move.

I forgot an option in box 5 very early on (essentially at the first step) and carried that mistake quite a long way until it finally clashed because of a triplet in box 1
... that was an annyoing mistake aaaanyway:
nice puzzle becausse of my mistake it appeared more like 4* to me at the second try, but I suspect it's just been me trying hard to ignore what I thought I knew a minute ago ;-)

Nice puzzle. I think 3-star difficulty is correct, but I misread a rule (my fault) and got stuck for an hour as a result, so tough to accurately assess the difficulty.
