An Abacus for Abekas - VERSION 2
I created the original version of this puzzle as an homage to "Abekas Video Systems", the company I worked for from 1992 through 1996 (Now owned by Ross Video).
As I was going through my own testing, I thought the puzzle was too hard so I added extra Kropki dots to provide a more approachable solution path ... but then it turned out to be TOO easy and the original puzzle has very nice comments, but only rated 1 star for difficulty. I've now backed out the extra dots that I had added - so don't blame me if this version is too difficult (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
The Rules:
• Normal Sudoku Rules Apply
• A black dot between cells indicates cell values with a 2:1 ratio
• A white dot between cells indicates cells with consecutive values
• Not all possible dots are shown (no negative constraint)
• Lines that make up the Abacus frame are for cosmetic purposes only
Here's the link to the original (simpler) version:

Enjoy the puzzle, and I'm very curious to see how much more difficult this version really is, so please leave a comment!

I barely got through the original version and rated it 5 star difficulty. This one ... ok, I admit I cheated and looked at two dots from the other puzzle. Otherwise I was completely stuck. This is 7 out of 5 for difficulty :-)
