After jumping on the U-Bahn train I wanted to draw attention to another puzzle genre that seems to be off the radar: Icelom. It struck me as a genre that has a lot of potential for hybrid puzzles, and I think this can be attributed to 2 main reasons. First, the dual nature of the path/loop combines naturally with any puzzle that involves two types of cells. Second, the concept of visiting numbers in ascending order can give a new meaning to standard clues. I chose Fillomino for this puzzle, but I think there's room for many other variations as well, I may try some other ideas in the future. For now I hope you'll enjoy this first glimpse of Icelom, it should be fairly approachable.
Rules
Main Puzzle: Glissando (11x11)
Solution code: The number of turns of the path in each row, from top to bottom. Then the numbers along the main positive diagonal, from top-right to bottom-left, use X for shaded cells.

Funny how this solves very linearly. Felt like a pinguin belly-sliding on ice ! Thanks :)

Thank you. The code is painful, but the puzzle is enjoyable.

I enjoyed this ruleset greatly! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Every time I drew the path through the ice, I said an audible "whoooooosh"

Very enjoyable! Very smooth as well, despite me having no Icelom experience beforehand :D

i think the solution code part is 5/5 difficulty hahaha, but it doesn't take away the fact that the main puzzle was super fascinating and smooth!!
