Road and River (Palindrome and Thermo-Region Sum Line)

Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Palindrome line: The grey line is a palindrome, which reads the same in both directions. One digit appears exactly nine times on this line.
- Thermo-region sum line: Digits along the blue line sum to a certain value in each 3x3 box it passes through. This value increases by one in each new box it enters, from the bulb end to the tip.

Cool puzzle. I figured it would be a colorfest and I was not disappointed. Loved the "maths" at the end to resolve everything.
