Wow, it's so astonishingly similar. Our minds crossed (≥ ∀≤) ゞ

Exactly! Actually, already when I read the title of your puzzle I thought it might have the same break-in. So fun that we discovered it independently. Thank you for also giving my puzzle a try and thanks for your nice comment!

changed solving link to include solution check (many thanks to garycblack for providing that link!), no changes to the contents of the puzzle

Very interesting. I found the +1 by adding the leftovers in every box, which is harder than the recommended path, but worked well.

A lot of fun - prob a 2* because of the break-in.
**
Thank you for commenting, Chilly! I am glad you had fun with the puzzle. I agree with your assessment of difficulty. Initially, I've set the difficulty to 2/5. But in the end it does not matter so much if it is consindered to be an easier 2/5 or a harder 1/5 puzzle. :)

Smooth and enjoyable solve, although I did need to use some calculator :-)
**
Thank you for your comment, julien505! I am glad you had a smooth and enjoyable solve. Concernig the calculator: It is not necessary to add all cage totals.

Haha, you truly nailed your description of the puzzle.
Finding the break in makes you feel good and then it was a breeze.

Hey Snaques, thank you for your kind feedback! As you say, the break-in is the tough part and then the reward is an easy finish. I am glad that you enjoyed the puzzle.

I tripped over a box of Kleenex this morning and thought I had broken my ankle. Thankfully, it was just soft tissue damage.
I tripped and hit my head on a snare drum. I think I have a percussion.
I tripped over my shoelaces one day and got arrested. The police said it was a felony.
I tripped in France. Eiffel over.
Last week, I tripped over my bike and really hurt myself. So I moved it into another room. But the next day, forgetting I moved it, I tripped again. So I moved it into another room. The next day, again I forgot, and I tripped again. So I moved it. The next day...Yeah, it's a vicious cycle.
Yes, cute break-in. Thanks for the fun puzzle.
**
Thank you for your comment, RussKozerski! To be honest, I did not get the first part. Is it a reference to song lyrics or some story?
Anyways, I am happy that you enjoyed the puzzle.

Dope break-in. Really loved it. Used my calculator though :D
**
Thank you for commenting, LoverOfPi! I am glad that you liked the break-in. I am not quite sure if I understand your use of the calculator correctly, but in the solve it is not required to sum up ALL the cages.

Nevertheless really enjoyed it!

Very cute break in, after that the puzzle is pretty trivial, I've given 1* difficulty.
**
Thank you for your comment, britboy3456! I am glad that you enjoyed the puzzle. Concerning the difficulty, I completely agree with you. After the break-in everything seems to fall into place almost by itself.
