Reserved Parking
by rockratzero
Based on the sliding puzzle game "Rush Hour" as suggested by Raumplaner; implemented with software by Chameleon. Developed with contributions from Riffclown and Sudoku Skunkworks.
The puzzle is designed to be solved in two stages. You might want to try the first 6x6 Rush Hour sudoku by Chameleon at this LMD page to familiarize yourself with the basic game mechanics.

Normal Sudoku Rules Apply.
Rush Hour mechanics apply to car movements; given digits on cars move with the cars.

Sudoku variant rules apply in the grid as follows:
Renban: Digits on pink lines and pink cars must form a set of consecutive numbers in any order.
German whispers: Adjacent digits on green lines and green cars must vary by at least 5.
Black Kropki: Digits adjacent on black dots and black cars must form a 2:1 ratio.
Fire Hydrants: Cars may not permanently park adjacent/touching a kropki.(Example: in row 6 starting positions, the black car is touching, but the pink car is not)

Escape Rule: Initially no cars may leave the caged 6x6 Region. Move the Red Car through the Cage opening and into the red outlined Parking Space to allow the other cars to move outside this initial cage. (Press the button that will appear to release the cars)

Reserved Parking: Other cages in the grid are Reserved Parking spaces. Park the corresponding colored cars in their space for the final solution. Reserved Parking (and perhaps other cells in the grid) have hidden given digits to be discovered while driving. Revealed digits do not move.

I loved how this set a genuine Rush Hour puzzle, and then had most of the cars participate as line/dot rules in the final grid! This is an excellent follow-up to Chameleon's Rush Hour and does even more justice to the concept. Great work, and thank you for making it!

So fun! The opening rush hour puzzle was tricky and satisfying by itself, and the combination with sudoku and the resulting logic was really enjoyable. Looking forward to more of these!
