This puzzle is a spiritual successor to my Equally Quiet and Dutch Sum series, utilizing lines that are both region sum lines as well as another line constraint.
Rules:
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
All lines are both region sum and modular lines.
-- Region sum lines: Digits along a line must sum to the same total in each region the line enters.
-- Modular lines: Each set of three consecutive digits on a line must be one each from [147], [258], and [369].
The given greater-than sign points towards the lower of two neighboring digits.
Solution code: Row 8 followed by column 9 (18 digits no spaces)

I have no idea how to break in to this. Have one digit after an hour.. I give up
-- Thanks for giving it a go! If you ever want to come back to it, you can DM me on Discord (my username is also 'yttrio' there) with your current progress, and I can give you a nudge in the right direction.

I loved it from start to finish. Got "stuck", but following the variant constraints set me free. Great puzzle!

Absolutely fabulous setting. The combination of logics and then that final disambiguation. Lovely
