Summer Whispers
My beloved 13 year old dog Summer passed away yesterday, so I set a puzzle in honor of her.Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- The lime green lines are 'German Whispers' lines, Adjacent digits along these lines must differ by at least 5.
- The clue outside the grid refers to the total along that diagonal.
- The dark green lines are purely for aesthetic purposes. THESE LINES ARE NOT A PART OF THE WHISPER, THESE PAIRS OF DIGITS DO NOT NEED TO MEET THE WHISPERS REQUIREMENT.

We managed to make multiple errors regarding 3 and 7 neighboring, and somehow also managed to stumble near the end with clashing 7s again, but overall this puzzle had very nice logic, and I hope Summer had as good of a life as you could provide for her.

Making it more clear the dark green lines are NOT a part of the whispers lines.

28righthand - Thanks for this. I assumed it meant there weren't any additional rules for the dark green lines, but were still part of the whispers.

MacZidane - I thought that too, but I think the "The dark green lines are purely for aesthetic purposes" implies the are to be totaly ignored (so unjoined)

I'm clearly missing something obvious as others have solved this, but for the life of me, I cannot work out how row 8 is possible. There needs to be at least one 4 or 6 on the green lines on the row, but no cell on it can accommodate either. Help
