Dobbledoku

(Published on 27. April 2023, 14:10 by krtekcze)

Rules:
  • Normal sudoku rules apply.
  • Single-Diagonal: Marked diagonal must contain the digits 1-9 once each.
  • Antiking: Cells a chess king's move apart may not contain the same digit.
  • Thermometers: Digits on a thermometer must strictly increase as they move away from the bulb.
  • Killer: Digits in a cage may not repeat and must sum to the small clue in the top left corner of the cage.
  • Dobble cages: Each killer cage has exactly one digit in common with every other cage, i.e. if you take any pair of cages, you will always find exactly 1 common digit. That common digit can be different in different pairs. You can use only 7 different digits inside the cages.

First 4 star completed! Dobble was surprisingly easy to grasp, Anti king was something I lost track of at times, had a couple of brute forces that helped me notice things, and it took me a few hours (only been doing these for a month or so, don't roast me too hard haha)

Beautiful break in with the cages, very hard ending.

Getting the cages is tricky but key. It was still a hard slog with the only constraint being the kings move. Enjoyable but took me 35 minutes. Thank you for sharing.
