Roundabout
(Published on 26. April 2023, 19:41 by CJK)
This puzzle was designed as preparation for the German Sudoku championship 2023.
- Put the numbers 1 to 6 in the grid, such that every number appears exactly once in each row, column, and area.
- On each arrow, the number in the circle gives the sum of all further numbers along the arrow.
- For the grey cells between two grids, put in the difference between the first two numbers in the corresponding row or column (seen from the given direction). This difference has to be the same in both grids, but cannot be produced by the same pair (in any order). For example, if in one grid, the two numbers 2 and 4 generate a difference of 2, in the other grid, the difference has to be 2 as well, but the numbers cannot be 4-2; 6-4 would be allowed.
