Palinsums
(Published on 25. April 2023, 18:15 by SenatorGronk)
Rules
- Standard sudoku rules apply
- Killer: Digits in cages sum to the number in the upper-left corner.
- Renban: Each pink line contains a set of consecutive digits in any order.
- Palinsums: Each line other than the renbans is a "palinsum". Along these lines, pairs of digits that would be the same if the line was a palindrome, instead have the same sum.
That is, for the line ABCDEF, A+F = B+E = C+D.
For lines with odd lengths, each pair has the same sum as the center: so for ABCDE, A+E = B+D = C.
Digits may repeat on palinsums.

There was some really fun math logic with this one, and the palinsum lines were a very interesting concept. It was tricky at times, but never overwhelmingly difficult.

The logic in this didn't feel too difficult, but felt quite creative at times and could easily trip someone up not looking for the right things. Very enjoyable puzzle!
