This is my take on a combination of two somewhat contradictory rule sets.
Rules:
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Purple lines are Renban lines (all digits along each line form a sequence of consecutive digits in any order).
Orthogonally adjacent squares cannot contain consecutive digits.
The given greater-than sign points towards the lower of two neighboring digits.
Solution code: Row 5 followed by column 5 (18 digits no spaces)

What an impervious ride. It was almost 200 minutes of solve. Loved every second.

Excellent idea, wonderful execution. The solve path was smoother than I thought upon first viewing the grid - there was always something to chip away at. Overall, a joy to solve.
