Who Ordered The X-Sums?

(Published on 19. April 2023, 04:21 by RockyRoer)

Last month you were struggling to keep the sandwich orders straight, this month, they all want x-sums! Maybe you'll be able to sort it out?

The Rules:

  1. Normal Sudoku rules apply.
  2. Normal quadruple rules apply - in the four cells surrounding each circle, each of the digits must appear at least once.
  3. [X-Sums]The one or two digit number in each quadruple is an X-sums clue that must be placed on one side or the other of one of the rows or columns that quadruple circle touches. From its correct location, it will be the sum of the digits in the first x cells from that direction where X is the digit in the cell next to the clue.
    • For example, the 37 in box 5 must be a valid x sum on the top or bottom of column 4 or 5, or on the left or right side of row 5 or 6.

The Puzzle: Try on CTC or this link has a border on outside.

Solution code: Column 2 from top to bottom.
