NANSUKE SUDOKU
I hope you enjoy this puzzle! I would call is a sustained 3.5 out of 5 for difficulty. And no guesswork, trial-and-error, or bifurcation is needed for the word placement! It has a clean and logical solve path.
Rules:
- Fill the blue spaces with words from the word list. Each word may be used only once. Words appear top-to-bottom or left-to-right. Each letter has a unique integer value which may be deduced by the solver. Cells separated by a black dot contain letters with values in a 1:2 ratio. Cells separated by a white dot contain letters with consecutive values. Not all dots are given.
- Within the puzzle is a 9x9 sudoku grid that must be located by the solver. Normal sudoku rules apply within the sudoku grid (place letters with the values 1-9 exactly once in each row, column, and box).
- BONUS PUZZLE: if you invert the kropki dots (black for white, white for black), this puzzle has a second unique solution! The inverted version is posted here.

I changed the name of my puzzle from "Word Search Sudoku" to "Nansuke Sudoku" after realizing that Chefofdeath had released a puzzle with the same name just a few weeks earlier. Sorry for stepping on your toes! Nansuke Sudoku fits better too!

Wonderful (and yet challenging) puzzle for me! There’re lots of cool deductions in this one, from getting the true position of 9x9 grid to the resolution towards the end. It’s interesting to see how the words were so carefully chosen in here x)
