Fun puzzle!
Not too difficult by u-bahn standards, but still quite tough for me. Lot of nice logic in here.

I can't believe I solved this in less than 20 minutes ! I remember staring at puzzles of this genre a few month ago, not really understanding how to even approach them... Seems I have come a long way :) Very enjoyable. Thanks :)

I agree a video on how to solve these puzzles would be great. Very nice puzzle but I don't know how to get started besides guessing.

This is one of the best puzzles I have solved! I know it was meant to be somewhat introductory yet it is still rather challenging - this is part of why I love it so much. This is not the first time and almost certainly not the last time a KNT puzzle has succeeded in demonstrating not just logic but also a more general vibe (admittedly, with some guidance talking through my thought process) which allowed me to conceptualize a certain puzzle genre in a way that is more organic for my style of solving than I had previously considered.

It took me many attempts and a long time, but I was finally able to solve this thing! Being a novice to U-Bahn puzzles, KNT's hints and advice really helped, but I wasn't able to make true progress until I figured out a notation system that worked for me.
Helper x'es on borders that can't be crossed was key! I also assigned a color convention for each of the shapes.

Quite an intense struggle, but I've certainly learned a lot. Loads of nice logic too, which I wish that I was capable of seeing a bit more easily.

@RockyRoer I actually am intending to make a sort of guide video for both, but moreso try to lean on the explanations of the core concepts of the genre, since I completely understand how tricky it is to learn.

I for one would love to see video tutorial talking through how to approach these types of puzzles… I’ve solved one or two before but don’t really have good understanding what to look for and what important ideas need considering. Not saying YOU need to make one, but maybe someone who likes to teach/explain could.

These u-bahns always seem like some conspiratory prank to me. I've stared at this for a bit now, and I don't understand anything at all yet. Will continue staring for a while, though!
Edit: I think I'm gradually understanding some things.
Edit 2: I retract my previous statement.
Edit 3: After two hours and even a hint, this is still a brick wall.

This might be my favorite vanilla U-Bahn. Really cool opening and then interesting logic all the way to the end, even though none of it felt too tricky.

I personally love solving U-Bahn puzzles, but they currently seem to be not very popular on the portal. These two puzzles should be instructive to those more unfamiliar, and for both, no theoretical deductions are needed to solve.
