This puzzle was originally set in January 2023 for the Cracking the Cryptic Discord's monthly prompt of "Mr. Pacific's Specific Selection," using 4 out of the 7 optional restrictions.
Rules:- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Clues outside the grid give the sum of the digits sandwiched between the 1 and 9 in that row or column, non-inclusive.
- The given orange diagonal must contain three repeated digits.
- Digits along a green thermometer must increase from bulb to tip.
- The two gray pentominoes must be clones of each other, containing the same digits in the same positions. Additionally, a third clone region is hidden somewhere in the grid, which must be identified by the solver. Rotations or reflections are not allowed.

I'm glad I tried this before it gained a third star, because usually I don't attempt those, but this was an absolute joy!
