Escape the Programmer's Vortex

(Published on 31. March 2023, 02:45 by Oddlyeven)

Every programmer knows that numbering should start at zero!

Rules: Put the digits 0 to 8 once each in each row column and box.
Arrows: Digits on an arrow must sum to the digit in that arrow's circle.
Cages: Digits in a cage may not repeat and must sum to the total in the top-left corner of the cage.

Note: This was inspired by a combination of two of my previous puzzles:
Escape the Vortex Redux
Programmer's Arrows

Solution code: Row 1 then Column 1 (18 digits)

Great puzzle! I have learned (hopefully, but probably not) that I should read the rules carefully, because the puzzle does not work with the digits 1 to 9. Thank you
