Killer Numbered Rooms

(Published on 21. March 2023, 21:04 by the_cogito)

This puzzle has been in the works for quite a long time. I hope you enjoy it.

- Normal Sudoku rules apply. Cells on the edge of the puzzle are 'outside' the Sudoku grid.
- Digits outside the grid are numbered rooms clues, and must equal the Nth closest Sudoku digit from their respective row or column, where N is the value of the nearest Sudoku digit.
- Digits may not repeat within killer cages.

Brilliant numbered rooms puzzle and the first I ever solved! In the end I struggled with the right order of the solution ... .

Cool concept, although I am baffled by the given difficulty: It was extremely brutal for me.

Yeah, understandable. I think some of the logic lends itself to being a struggle depending how you start off thinking about it.

There is no solution check(╥ω╥`)

Sadly not for SudokuPad, technically the grid is only partially filled.
