Normal Sudoku rules apply. Numbers on green lines are at least 5 apart from their neighbors on the line. Numbers on purple lines are a set of non-repeating, consecutive numbers, in any order. Numbers with a black dot between them are in a ratio of 2:1. Numbers with an X between them sum to 10. Numbers with a V between them sum to 5. Not all possible dots, X and V are given.

I just wanted to echo what dlandrum17 said. I am relatively new to variant sodoku puzzles and while I love to watch difficult puzzles get solved and have learned a lot I am not always the best at them yet.

Your puzzles especially the 1 and 2 stars puzzles are still challenging for me but I can follow the logic and not get overly frustrated and am able to complete them in 30-60 minutes for the most part.

Thank you so much for putting out consistently fun puzzles for people like me, I can't say how much I appreciate it. It encourages me to continue on and learn more new techniques. Hopefully one day I can graduate to the 3 star puzzles :)

Will Power - I'm not very good at difficult puzzles. I love watching them solved on CTC and yell at the tv and get thrilled when I notice stuff. With your puzzles, whether they be ones of one star or two they are always straightforward enough that I can solve them but not just feel like daily GAS puzzle that I can breeze through. Still have to take some time and think it through. Also love how much you theme like with paintings or other clever hidden things like even the image of the diamond in this puzzle. You're also a setter that sets a lot of German whispers which is my favorite constraint because I understand the secrets of it the most. When I come on this website I always go to the German Whispers section and you often have a new one every few days and of all the German whispers puzzles I see in the list over every few days yours are my favorite because they are themed and accessible enough without seeming too easy or as easy as the daily puzzles. Sometimes if I have a lot of time I try to look into your other variant puzzles. I know there was a puzzle of yours that I was trying to do that was a three star and it was the first of yours I couldn't solve. I don't remember which puzzle it was. I continue to try to find 3 star ones that I can solve but yours are generally in that perfect sweet spot that I can handle. Hope that helps.

dlandrum17 Thanks for responding. My goal is to make as many people's day brighter as I can. The star rating is not as important to me as how many people solve it and how much they liked it. Selecting from my puzzles, my favorite is "The Great Escape", which is actually a three-star. It features thermometers,
however I think you can do it. People who completed this one gave it the highest beauty rating I have ever achieved. A bonus for solving it is that there is a follow-up puzzle called "The Great Escape II", which is an easier puzzle. Let me know if you complete both. 8-) -Will Power

Hello, all. @RussKozerski @dlandrum17 @anyeyeball @obi @jalebc
I am looking for input to help better my future puzzles. If I could find what interests you about the puzzles I make, but what makes my puzzles "Pythagoras Triangles", "Excalibur, Super Indexed" and "Cake: Find the Liar Layer" not so popular? Thanks, if you respond with comments. -Will Power

I think maybe diamonds don't really want to be diamonds. They're just pressured into it. Still, they're pretty coal, right? Thanks for another great puzzle Will Power.
@RussKozerski 8-) Thanks for the comments. -Will Power

Will Power -- I looked at your puzzles according to your request above: Pythagoras..., Excalibur..., Cake.... I may be a bad person to ask about this, because I'm not a very skilled solver. For me, a 1-star difficulty puzzle is enough of a challenge. So for me, 2-star puzzles are a bit more difficult than I usually enjoy. I love your 1-star puzzles. Every one I've ever done has been a joy. They take me between 30-60 minutes. But 2-star puzzles are frustrating because they take more time than I want to spend on a single puzzle, and I probably won't be able to solve them anyway. So that's just me. The other thing I notice about those particular puzzles you mentioned is that the rule sets are a bit more complicated than usual. The super indexing, the liars, for me, it becomes a challenge just to figure out a rule set. There are SO MANY puzzles on Logic Masters that if I don't immediately understand the ruleset, it's just easier to go tackle a different puzzle. Even when I watch Simon or Mark solve on CTC, if I can't immediately understand the ruleset, or if I see it's a long paragraph, I lose patience and stop watching. This is just me. I don't know it that's helpful, but that's my response to your question. Thank you so much for all the puzzles you set. I really do find a great amount of joy doing Will Power puzzles.
@RussKozerski Thank you for responding. Since my goal is to (hopefully) make as many people's lives better as I can, then my goal doesn't conflict with your comments anyway. I can't completely eliminate the two-star and occasional three-star, but my results have been mainly 1 star anyway. Peace to you, and happy solving. -Will Power
