King Gattai

(Published on 10. March 2023, 21:18 by Geelow98)

Rules:
  • Standard gattai and sudoku rules apply.
  • Any two cells separated by a king's move (in chess) cannot contain the same digit unless permitted by gattai rules.
  • Numbers in the top-left cell of a killer cage represent the difference between the maximum and minimum digits within the cage. For example, if a killer cage contains a '4' clue, then the difference between the highest and lowest value digits within the cage is equal to 4.
  • Digits within a cage may repeat if permitted by normal sudoku and gattai rules.
  • Have fun!

Have a crack at this one and tell me what you think! Spread the word and don't forget to rate it!

Fellow setters, If anyone knows how to make fog of war puzzles, I would be very interested to know how so I may incorporate that into my puzzle making!

Also, I looked everywhere online to see if I could find this style of Gattai puzzle. I didn't find this particular style. I think I made a new style of gattai... If anyone has seen a puzzle like this before, please comment below. Thanks!

@Fisherman, I would re-open the puzzle in Penpa+. When resizing, makes sure to do it incrementally. Increase a little bit at a time.
