The Pair Orchard

Standard sudoku rules apply.

Neighbouring digits along a green line must have a difference of at least 5.

Cells which are a chess knight's move apart must contain different digits.

Digits separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio. Not all black dots are necessarily given.

Very nice logic and symmetries in this puzzle and, if it's still even in debate, definitely no need to bifurcate. Thank you EPH.

Dear Big Tiger. The wrong option that Timyouth referenced breaks the puzzle in two places in only five cells after the clued cells. That is not deep enough to be called bifurcation. It is a standard Proof by Contradiction, in my humble opinion.

It took a while to figure out what is going on in row 5. But then it had a nice flow. Maybe I got a bit lucky by having a feeling what to look for. Colouring helps, no need to bifurcate. Would like to see this puzzle featured by CTC.

Thank you for this fun puzzle, EPH! The symmetry is quite intriguing. It feels like it is sufficient to solve "half of the puzzle" if you know what I mean. The solve has a good-flowing logic and is very enjoyable. Thanks again for setting and sharing!

Well, I'd be interested to see the intended logic path because I had to bifurcate. :-( But I did make it!
