All of my puzzles till now have had a very strong reliance on symmetry. I decided I needed to step outside my comfort zone a little bit as a setter and put more asymmetry in my puzzles. So while there is still some symmetry present in this puzzle, you will see that I have also added some very asymmetric clues as well. Thermometers and entropic lines play very well together because they are both interested in the same high/low properties of numbers and I found some nice interactions between the two to showcase in this puzzle. The name of this puzzle expands the thermometer heat metaphor to include thermal conduction between different coils of clues. :) Please enjoy Conduction Coils!
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Thermometers: Digits on a grey thermometer increase from bulb to tip.
Entropic Lines: Every set of three sequential cells along a beige entropy line contains a low digit (1,2,3), a middle digit (4,5,6), and a high digit (7,8,9). Digits may repeat on a line, if allowed by other rules.
Solution code: Row 4 followed by row 6 (18 digits, no spaces)

Very clever idea for a break-in and wonderful fun through the end!

Very enjoyable. Was pretty surprised when I realized the break in. Wasn't obvious at all at first glance.
Even thought it wasn't that easy, the puzzle just flowed through very nicely.
Thanks for a lovely puzzle!
