I always find a puzzle like this great – approachable with loads of standard rules in the grid, yet it reveals a careful and satisfying break-in! Tricky to start, but great all the way through.

Wow, it took me hours to solve this :-D
Always when Simon from CtC claims a puzzle is approachable, I first try it out myself and this one I could solve all on my own, even if I had to stare at it for way too long.
It took me a while to find the break in, and then it flowed very nicely.

This is exactly what I love about a good Sudoku. When you see it at first, it makes you think that there is no way you can solve this. But then, bit by bit it all opens up beautifully to a complete Sudoku.
