Normal Sudoku rules apply. In addition...
- Squares with a dot between them have a ratio of 1:3, squares without a dot between them cannot have a ratio of 1:3.
- Numbers outside the grid give the sum of all digits found between the 1 and the 9 in that row or column.
- Digits on a thermometer must increase monotonically, with the lowest digit found on the bulb end.
- Each separate thermometer is composed of only odd digits, or only even digits.
Solution code: Solution code is the bottom row, from left to right.

The recreation of the puzzle on F-Puzzles by @Eyelithios has set up the black dots as being indicating 1:2 ratios, instead of the puzzle's 1:3 ratios, and they didn't enable negative constraint checking. Not sure if that may have been the issue you had?

So the default settings on f-puzzles was telling me that some of the digits I put into the top middle thermo were wrong, and I was very specifically following that last piece of the ruleset. Not sure why it did that.
Once I figured that out, though, that was an absolutely fantastic solve path. Negative constraints are right up my alley. Thanks for setting it!

@PinkNickels Yikes; my playtesters all took high-20 to high-30 minutes. Good job, but clearly they need to work on *their* scanning skills. I'll drop the rating a tick; thanks for trying it!

Nice puzzle! I would not rate this as 3* difficulty--more like a high 1* or lower 2*. Thank you for setting and sharing! Edit: took me 9:05, so probably a tougher 1*, but 2* is probably ok.

What fun! Get your head around the constraint (note to self: read the rules) and it is a smooth clean solve. Miss any of the fine print and you can prepare toi be here all night :D
