randall, I really enjoyed that one. I had tried it a few days ago but made a mistake and gave up. I'm glad I came back to it. It was tough but approachable. And I liked using the Sum Dots with the Negative Contraint.

Yay! I'm so glad you stuck with it and nice job on the solve!

I almost didn't do this because I don't have much experience with either slitherlink or cave. But I'm glad I did because not only was this a ton of fun, but it was also a good introduction to both slitherlink and cave, because the clues we're very intuitive in the solve and the solve path was super smooth.
Well done, and thanks for taking your time to set this!

Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm so glad you gave it a shot :)

Clarifying square clues rule
on 18. February 2023, 23:08 by Tilberg
Peterkp is right. The rule should say that the cell itself is included. Although this follows from the term "cave clue", it should probably be more explicit.
All in all, a very enjoyable puzzle. Thanks!

Indeed - will update!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it :)

Rules clarification please. For a cell marked with a square, does the line-of-sight count include the cell itself?

Yes, it does! Thanks for the feedback, I'll update the wording to clarify :)
