Here is another Cave / Fillomino hybrid, inspired from the Twilight Cave variant. I think it's easier than most of my puzzles, but still has some fairly unique logic. I hope you will enjoy!
Rules
Fillomino: Divide the grid into orthogonally connected regions such that no two regions of the same size share an edge, and enter a number into each cell equal to the size of its region.
Cave: Shade some cells in the grid such that all unshaded cells are orthogonally connected, and all shaded cells are orthogonally connected by other shaded cells to an edge of the grid.
Variant:
Solution code: Enter the numbers in the two main diagonals: top-left to bottom-right and top-right to bottom-left.

Brilliant ending, and the preceding bits weren't half bad too. Thanks.

Strange feeling for me while solving and big fun with a new way of interpreting clues :). Even midway through I wasn't really sure about following the rules correctly.

Wow, very smooth puzzle with a nice flow, especially towards the end, that part had me laughing for a while.
Thanks Agent, for creating this.

Question: Can puzzles have humor?
Agent: Yes.

I was totally unprepared for how incredible this puzzle would be. Once I got my mind wrapped around the rules it solved quite elegantly. And then there's the ending which just blew my mind! Easiest 100% rating I've given to a non-sudoku puzzle. Thanks for the amazing set :)

Like you say, assuredly easier than the typical Agent puzzle, but no less fun and engaging. Delightful surprising moments throughout, thanks!
