Numbered Corridors 2 (German Whispers, Numbered Rooms)

(Published on 12. February 2023, 15:30 by Crusader175)

Exploring idea where Numbered Rooms clue forms a different type of lines constraint.

Rules:

Normal sudoku rules apply.

German Whispers: Adjacent digits on a green line must have a difference of at least 5.

Numbered Rooms: Clues outside the grid indicate the digit which has to be placed in the Nth cell in the corresponding direction, where N is the digit placed in the first cell in that direction.

Every Numbered Rooms clue forms a German Whispers Lines starting from the N to Nth cell. (Note: N=1 is possible)

Very nice, got stuck for a little while on one deduction but otherwise very smooth!

Great execution of a new (to me) concept of building out German whispers with numbered rooms. Very much approachable after wrapping my head around the rules and how those affect what digits get eliminated. Thanks!

Reply: Thank you very much! I had a lot of fun exploring the idea.
