Rules:

Normal sudoku rules apply.
The palindrome line reads the same forwards as backwards. Example: 924717429.
Orthogonally adjacent digits are non-consecutive.
Digits along the diagonal killer clue sum to 48.

Lovely puzzle. I thought it was closer to 3 stars. Maybe I just got lucky with which parts of the palindrome to work through first.

I enjoyed this! On the basis that I managed to solve it without serious problems I’d err towards 3 rather than 4 stars.

Nice idea, but too technical. When solving the puzzle there is no 'Sudoku-feeling'.

@Statistica You're probably right about the 'sudoku feeling'. The puzzle is based more around the combination of the two main rulesets than it is around traditional sudoku logic.

Thanks for setting, I enjoyed the puzzle. :) Smooth solve. Felt somewhere between three and four stars difficulty for me.
