Clearly or Darkly
(Published on 6. February 2023, 07:32 by zegres)
“What does a scanner see? he asked himself.
I mean, really see? Into the head? Down into the heart?
Does a scanner see into me - into us - clearly or darkly?
― Philip K. Dick, A Scanner Darkly
I have recently set a few puzzles with my
Parity Mirror
idea.
I have tried to make these approachable and use a single constraint to see how its logic works with parity reflection.
The previous one,
Stare Directly at the Sum,
uses arrows with a parity mirror.
Please let me know what you think of this one.
Thanks to
Playmaker
for testing and feedback!
Rules:
- Normal Sudoku Rules Apply.
- Kropki:
White dots join consecutive digits.
Black dots join digits with 1:2 ratio.
There is no negative constraint.
- Parity Mirror:
Odd/Even parity is reflected across the blue line.
For example: if R6C2 is odd, R2C6 must also be odd.
Have fun, leave a comment if you enjoy the puzzle!
If you don't, please let me know why so I can improve as a setter.
Solution code: Row 9 (9 digits no spaces)

Thanks a lot! Very nice and approachable combination of the rules. Sometimes it took me a little while to find the next step, but it was never to hard.
