I wanted to create a fortress puzzle in the shape of the castle, but didn't realize I would end up discovering such a beautiful gem! The first version of this puzzle was quite a bit harder, but a bit more cluttered and I ultimately decided that the easier, but cleaner version was the one to publish. I'm going to publish this puzzle with a 3-star difficulty, but solvers with previous fortress experience may find it easier than that. Yes, this puzzle was partially inspired by the Ed Sheeran song of the same name :) Please enjoy Castle on the Hill!
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
German Whispers: Adjacent digits on a green line must differ by 5 or more.
Dutch Whispers: Adjacent digits on an orange line must differ by 4 or more.
Fortress: Digits in shaded cells must be greater than orthogonally adjacent digits in unshaded cells (as indicated by the inequality symbols).
Solution code: Digits in row 2 then column 8 (18 digits, no spaces)

Thank you! I thought it was pretty neat how everything works out. I thought this puzzle had slipped into obscurity at only 9 solves but it makes me happy to see someone still looking at it! :)
