This was such a strange-feeling puzzle (and I mean that in a good way!) - there's so much emphasis on the low digits in the first stage, that I couldn't work out how the high digits would get disambiguated...and despite somehow doing it, I'm STILL unsure how it came together so silky-smoothly! It's like the Sudoku equivalent of those "strangely satisfying" looping GIFs where things fit perfectly into holes!
