Sudoku: Fill every row, column and marked 3x3 box with the digits 1-9.
Killer: In cages digits must not repeat and have to add up to the total given in the top left corner of a cage. But the value a cell adds to the cage total can be altered by the Vampire rule.
Vampires: 9 cells in the grid are Vampires. They have to be filled with one complete set of the digits from 1-9. Each row, column and marked 3x3 box contains exactly one Vampire cell. Vampire cells must not repeat in cages.
There also are 9 Prey cells following the same rules as the Vampire cells. A cell can only have one of these roles.
For cage totals:
- Prey cells contribute 0.
- Vampire cells contribute the sum of the digits in the Vampire cell and Prey cell in the same marked 3x3 box.
Here is a 4x4 example of the ruleset:
Vampire cells are highlighted in blue and prey cells in yellow. Solve the example here ( CTC-App ,

Have fun solving!

Once a vampire has you in its grasp, they won't let go any time soon. Fantastic puzzle. :)

Really nice, tricky at times as you had to "think outside the box" to calculate killer possibilities :)
It's also one of the few puzzles that, after having solved it, I want to solve it again, to appreciate the solve path, minus the initial head scratching delays
