Roman Hieroglyph

(Published on 17. January 2023, 17:20 by lepton)

Chaos Construction: Every row, column and region contains digits 1-9. Regions are to be determined by the solver, and must be a set of nine orthogonally connected cells. No 2x2 block may be entirely single region.

Renban: All lines contain a non-repeating set of consecutive digits in any order. All cells on a line belong to different regions.

XV: Digits joined by X sum to 10. Digits joined by V sum to 5. Cells joined by X or V belong to different regions. Not all X and V are necessarily given.

WOW! Incredible puzzle. More like a 5-star puzzle to me, I had to leave and come back the next day in order to break through with the regions. So so fun, I will have to explore your other puzzles! 5 stars

This claims to be a 4-star puzzle, but it was more like a 17-star puzzle. I struggled with this puzzle more than with any other. It took me over 3 hours to find the regions, then another 2 hours to put my first digit into the grid. My brain is fried.
