Demolition (Numbered Rooms, Skyscraper)

(Published on 15. January 2023, 15:00 by Crusader175)

Rules:

Normal sudoku rules DO NOT apply.

Each row, column, and 3x3 box contains each number from 0-8 exactly once. Clues outside the grid are both Numbered Rooms and Skyscraper.

Numbered Rooms: A clue outside the grid indicates that the Nth cell away from the clue along that row/column contains the number in the clue, where N is the number in the first cell in that direction. If N = 0, it’s indicating to the clue itself and fulfill the numbered rooms clue. (Example)

Skyscraper: Each number from 1-8 represents the height of the building. The clues outside the grid indicate the number of buildings visible from the corresponding direction. A taller building will hide any shorter buildings behind it. 0 does not represent a building, and does not count towards the number of buildings in a corresponding direction.

I really like introducing "0" to the puzzle. It makes it fresh and interesting.

Reply: Thank you Dot! I might set more puzzle with 0-8 rules. :)
